Restorative Dentistry

Restorative dentistry is the work we do to fix your teeth when they have become not as perfect as they once were, either through decay, fracture, or just living life. We use composite filling material to replace small to medium defects. For larger defects we can place a full coverage restoration (onlays and crowns) to protect the tooth. If a tooth is missing and you'd like it replaced we can simply replace the entire tooth with a dental implant.

Endodontics deals with the inside of a tooth. What's in there? Well, your root canal space. Commonly this is what people call having a root canal. The main reasons for having a root canal are the same reasons for basic restorative dentistry, just bigger issues. If a cavity is very deep it can cause inflammation inside your tooth which can be very painful. If a tooth breaks and the break is deep a tooth can also need root canal therapy.

Removable Dentistry

Removable dentistry deals with replacing missing teeth with removable appliances. This is what people call "false teeth", partials, or dentures. Dr. Ogle has made hundreds of dentures for patients and really enjoys the removable dentistry, especially dentures. He says "it's a great feeling giving someone back their entire smile!"

Pediatric Dentistry

Pediatric dentistry deals with basic dentistry with some differences and can change drastically based on a childs age and their ability to tolerate treatment. Our main goal with children is to keep them pain free and to keep them happy at the dental office. More important than treating every cavity immediately with a child, is developing a trusting relationship with a child so that they do not grow up afraid of the dentist. We will take all the time your child needs to make them feel comfortable and consent to dental treatment.

Oral Surgery

This biggest part of this service is removing teeth. Dr. Ogle has removed thousands of teeth in his time as a dentist and is very adept at gently and skillfully removing teeth. We understand that it is not plesant to have a tooth removed, but we make the experience pain free and as comfortable as possible for all of our patients.

Preventative Dentistry

Prevention is key! This is our favorite part of dentistry. You may hear Dr. Ogle say "If you end up in my chair it's because something went wrong. But we're going to get you back in the hygiene chair as soon as possible." Dr. Ogle is passionate about keeping your mouth healthy so you can be chewing steak well into your retirement years. We highly encourage at least biannual cleanings, fluoride, and excellent home care. We will work with you to come up with a plan to keep your teeth healthy.

Other Services

We make "night guards" for nightime grinding. Dental sealants are a great way to protect your teeth, especially when you're young. In our practice we love placing them as a great way to prevent future cavities. We also offer teeth whitening services for those with stains they'd like removed.
